Zweig & Associates, PC - 8567 Sudley Rd., Suite D

The attorneys at Zweig & Associates located the videos below on Youtube.com.  These videos depict officers subjecting individuals to the three most commonly used Field Sobriety Tests (FSTs) administered after an officer suspects that a driver who has been stopped may be operating the motor vehicle while under the influence of alchol or DUI.  All of these videos were created in laboratory like environment and all of them do not have the significant variables which exist on the street, including darkness, flashing lights, weather conditions, incline, rocks and other debris on the roadway, lack of lines to follow for the heel-to-toe test and more.  These are illustrative of the tests you may have been asked to perform prior to being arrested for DUI.  It is highly likely that the officer who arrested you has created a DUI checklist notes and a criminal complaint in which he/she asserts that you did not perform the FSTs to his/her satisfaction, thereby justifying his/her arrest.  The attorneys at Zweig & Associates will discuss the FSTs you performed with you during preparation of your case for trial.  Our attorneys are fully conversant with these tests and the clues police officers are instructed to look for to determine whether an individual may have been DUI, and have significant experience cross-examining police officers about the manner in which they administered these tests and their observations giving rise to the arrest of our clients.
